December 9th, 1944 Fireman Sheehan of Ladder Co. 15 Died in the Line of Duty after being overcome by smoke while operating at a General Alarm fire at 17 Ridge Rd in Lackawanna, NY. Fireman Sheehan was the only member to die on Duty while on Mutual Aid outside of the City of Buffalo.
