August 2nd, 1939 Fireman Mullarkey of Engine Co. 36 Died in the Line of Duty after being buried by a collapsed wall while operating at a 2 Alarm Fire at Niagara and Amherst Sts. Fireman Mullarkey's uncle Captain Edward White was a L.O.D.D. in 1919.
