March 1st, 2023 Firefighter Arno of Engine Co. 2 Died in the Line of Duty while operating at a 4-alarm Fire at 743-747 Main St. Firefighter Arno became trapped after a backdraft occurred during an evacuation of the fire building. Rescue attempts were halted by a smoke explosion and rapidly deteriorating conditions amid herculean attempts to reach Firefighter Arno.
